About this course

This session involves 25% didactic and 75% hands-on practical exercises on basic to advanced statistics, with the goal of preparing participants to undertake statistical analysis using SPSS for their study.

Each one has 30 minutes of theoretical and fundamental principles of the test and 1 hour of practical exercises

Some facts about the subjects

Basic statistics entails knowing which statistical test to employ.
When analyzing data, it is critical to understand the different types of data and variables.
Knowing how to use the SPSS program Intermediate - understand and execute comparisons between categorical and continuous variables.
Obtaining p values for statistical significance, among other things Advanced - learn and apply survival analysis and regression analysis to identify the most important factors influencing your dependent variable.
Many more complex tests, such as area under the curve to define cut-off values for laboratory values, will be done.
